When international data transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards in compliance with UK GDPR Chapter V:

Standard Contractual Clauses & UK IDTA: Utilizing the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or standard contractual clauses with partner institutions where applicable.
Derogations for Specific Situations (Article 49(1)(b)): Transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and Excellent Edu. Consult, or the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request to secure university admission or visa documentation.

5. Data Retention Schedule

In accordance with UK GDPR Article 13(2)(a), we store your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, subject to the following retention criteria:

Active Client Case Files (Admissions & Visas): Retained for the duration of the consultancy contract plus 6 years following the completion of services (to satisfy statutory legal liability, reporting, and contractual claims limits).
Prospective Client Inquiries & Leads: Retained for 24 months from the date of last contact if no formal contract is executed, after which data is securely erased or anonymized.
Billing & Financial Records: Retained for 7 years in accordance with statutory tax and financial auditing legislation.
Consent-Based Marketing Records: Retained until you withdraw your consent or opt-out.

6. Automated Processing & Profiling Disclaimer

In compliance with UK GDPR Article 13(2)(f), we explicitly confirm that Excellent Edu. All academic profile evaluations, institution recommendations, and visa eligibility guidance are carried out directly by qualified human advisors.
